Our manufacturing process

At Norwell Sourcing Solutions, the manufacturing sourcing process is simple. Our customers supply the prints of what they want to strategically source and we take it from there. Project oversight is our responsibility from the beginning of the project to the end.

1.

Strategically source the manufacturing of the specified parts.

Either supply us the print or a sample part and let us generate the engineered drawing for you. From there we will utilize our experienced and fully vetted suppliers to ensure that quality parts are manufactured. We will provide a sample part for your approval. Once the part is approved, then production can begin. Norwell project engineers will oversee the manufacturing operation of your part or components and will perform quality checks along with our suppliers' process. Once your order is complete, we will arrange for shipment.

2.

Complete U.S. customs clearance.

Once your shipment arrives in a U.S. port, we will have our customs broker clear customs. Our licensed customs broker takes the worry out of the customs clearing process and will work as expeditiously as possible to clear customs and get your shipment on its way to your facility or point of destination. You will receive notices along the way informing you of the customs clearance process.

3.

Arrange freight to your facility.

After your shipment clears customs, we will arrange the freight of your shipment to your facility or point of destination. Norwell uses qualified and experienced carriers to handle your shipments. You will be notified once your shipment clears customs and is in transit. As always, we keep communication flowing so that you will be informed as to when your shipment will arrive and what carrier will be transporting the freight.
